Uganda 2016

With some of the children I taught in Uganda
My name is Aisling Keane, and in July 2016 I was lucky enough to get the chance to go to Nansana in Uganda with an Irish charity, Nurture Africa, and teach in Kasengejje Primary School. This charity does incredible work with children infected with or affected by HIV, focusing on health and education. They work on building confidence in people who may not see any hope in their future. I'm so grateful to all those who contributed so generously to my fundraising in the months before my trip. You can be sure that your money was put to good use in Uganda, and was much appreciated by those who have so little. Have a look at some of the pages here to see how Nurture Africa uses donations and the work I did as a volunteer there. For more information on the charity and to look into volunteering with them (would definitely recommend!!!) go to the Nurture Africa Website :)
